Sunflowers and fruit

A little uninspired today for a creative shot .. But late arvo as the last of the sunshine was coming in the dining room window I just had to take a shot of the beautiful sunflowers @dide bought me yesterday .. we have also been given a big bucket of lemons and oranges .. so they matched well with the sunflowers..
Beautiful still life - the gloss on the orange thingy which I can't remember its name is good. I bought two recently and ripened them in a paper bag with an apple. Now very ripe and it will be our first taste!

The yellow of the sunflowers tones in nicely with the fruit and the wonderful artwork in the background. A lovely warm image.

@maggiemae Don't let those persimmon become too soft and ripe Maggie. As Julz says, best eaten crunchy.

The colors work nicely in this still life. I can imagine you taking this shot from different angles because the subjects work so well together. If you shoot from down low, you would probably cover the background art which is nice but not part of your still life. If you shoot closer up from below, you could highlight my favorite food, the persimmon :)
This reminds me of one of my favorite photos from 2013, my first year in photography: https://365project.org/jyokota/365/2013-11-25
Ah, I wish I had a persimmon now.
