Low Fog over the River..

Went out for an early morning walk this morning and it turned out to be fairly brief... It was freezing.. We had fog at daybreak but it lifted and the sun came out .. it just hadn't warmed things up yet .. but as the morning went on it was a glorious day and I found a warm spot to enjoy it ..

It may have been freezing but it looks lovely. My Yorkshire Nanna would have said 'You could have cut the fog with a knife'

@onewing I think my Yorkshire Grandparents would of said the same thing.. I can rember Dad saying the same though he was born in NZ but I guess the sayings got passed down..

I spoke to Ant in Taupo at 6.30am & he said everything was white with frost....it looks beautiful but you would be glad to get back inside! That fog is very picturesque!
