The Kerikeri Stone Store is one of the oldest buildings still in active use in NZ (not old at all to UK buildings) built in 1832 with Kemp House to the right built in 1821 and a Church in the background all built on the Kerikeri inlet for access of the first Missionaries to NZ. The store is being used now as a Museum and souvenir shop..
My grandparents married in that church on the hill, plus my great grandmother at one time held a lease on the old stone store. Bit of family history in those parts. Nice to see your photo.
I often marvel at how some shots from NZ and elsewhere could easily have been taken near me. I know I would love NZ but since I have a problem with blood clots I don't think I would chance such a long flight. Glad I get to enjoy it through your pictures.
