Singing Tui..

Today I managed to get FG off the farm for a short time.. We headed up to a city park and it is really great to see so much bird life just a short distance from Auckland CBD .. This is a Taiwan Cherry tree and at one time we counted 20 Tui's within the branches.. All singing their hearts out..

@happypat This one is always much earlier than the others.. It is regarded as a bit of a pest as seeds down very easy and can take over our native bush.. But it is stunning and the Tui's love these blossom..
