Went for a walk this morning with my Sister in the nearby forest.. We went on a different track and were thrown off the track due to fallen tree's and then after walking a reasonable distance I was not were I expected to be. I knew if we followed the river we would eventually 'pop' out to a spot I knew, but before that we came across a dog walker and she pointed us in the best direction. she said when she's back at her car and our car is still there she will come looking for us.. 20 minutes further on and I was in familiar ground and we headed in the direction of our car.. soon after the kind dog walker came along and took us back to our car.. What a lovely lady.. what should of been a 1 hour walk was over 2.. so more than done our steps today..
What a Good Samaritan….it’s easy to get lost in a forest….lovely place to walk though! We bought Ant one of those GPS alarms….I was always so nervous when he went in the bush. Not sure if he uses it now but he’s not as adventurous these days thankfully. He said if you let it off without it being a real emergency you had to pay for it being reset.
