As per usual for a Saturday morning I was on the sideline of the netball court.. Unfortunately I did not enjoy the game as much as usual, as A grown man supporter from the opposition directed verbal abuse and encouraged physical pushing and shoving.. But our girls can hold their head's high as they did not get rattled .. Such a sad thing to witness on the side line knocking the confidence of these girls..
I spent many years on the sideline of my daughters netball games - still do depending on competitions but now we play on the same team as well. I know what you mean about sideline parents - I have told many off them exactly what I think over the years and have also reported them to control as well - I am glad your girls were ok - this is a great action shot
@graemestevens@annied what saddens me even more.. this man is a teacher of this age group children.. wouldn't want my children/grandies in his class...
Great shot and just read the story and comments to go with it. Shame on some people and what is even worse is when you said this chap was a teacher too. I would have taken a photo of him and shamed him by reporting the incident.
A bully by the signs of it....he sounds like if he can't win by fair means he shouts.......I agree not a good example....should be reported & banned from the side lines! Bet the girls on his side were embarrassed too. Great concentration on the central figure.
