Just recently our 82 year old neighbour Ray decided that with his ( a few years younger) friend that they would drive from home town just South of Auckland ( North Island NZ) 2,200 kms to the bottom of the North Island to Wellington .. They slept in their little 'dog' boxes that are on the back of their tractors.. Ray's tractor is the red and blue David Brown 900 .. the other tractor International B 414.. It took them 19 day's .... In the bottom left you can see Ray demonstrating how hay baling was done in the 'Old day's'..
What a pair of troupers Julz....no mean fete with those big trucks going fast on the road...they are a brave pair! Lots to talk about after their trip....good to have adventures when getting on in years!
