I was feeling very stuck in choosing among some photos I thought were rather blah but Taffy helped me see that lights and lines can be interesting. I think this is a department store about a ten-minute walk from my flat.

I took a photo walk in my new neighborhood, looking for something to photograph and I thought I was just snapping something that someone else had creatively imagined so I can't take credit for that great splash of color. But truthfully, I took this building from many angles and many settings to get the balance of dark background and the whiteness of lights to show up.
