Homemade Gnocchi! by jyokota

Homemade Gnocchi!

Lucky me . . . I was invited to Easter Lunch and @bouvardpecuchet made this absolutely perfect gnocchi as one of the many dishes she cooked! Her Gargonzola-Pear Gnocchi had the best texture as well as flavor, and it was followed by a delicious (and beautifully baked!) meat pie and scrumptious apple crumble. Interesting conversations and delightful company made this a memorable day, indeed.
Great looking gnocchi. Very nice POV.

I (surprise) like the repeating patterns. You have a perfect background in the reds to greenish colors.

They look great. Did your friend show you how to? ( I can make hand made gnocchi, too)

@bardejov @lynnb @anazad511 @vankrey @tishpics @rachelwithey @taffy -- thanks for all your comments! They were truly delicious and the photo will remind me how lucky I was to have them, but more lucky to have friends invite me to lunch!
@mara19500 -- I remember your photograph of handmade gnocchi, and I thought of you as I posted this. I definitely want to learn how to make them.

I love the textures, color and of course the repetition! I'm realizing how well repetition helps communicate depth. What a great way to spend a holiday, making and enjoying good food with friends!
