We stumbled on this restaurant because of their beautiful outdoor beer garden, surrounded by large weeping willow trees. The informative "newspaper style" menu told stories of Solidarity, and the delicious and cheap food and beer were typically Polish. The Secret Room within the restaurant shows what an apartment during the 1980s Solidarity would have included: mimeograph machines, typewriters, leaflets, etc. to advance the cause of fighting Communism. Today, the restaurant's earnings beyond expenses are donated to social causes.
