Homemade Pierogis

We were invited to visit an artist and he referred to his housekeeper as"Meister Chef" and she was. A most delicious lunch, and memorably delicious pierogis. We were also served brined fish, and he said vodka was necessary so I had my first vodka in Poland on my last day (our of five months) in Poland.

@annied ha ha! I don't drink much at all -- just a sip here and there. I have to admit that this was very good but very strong vodka!

Oh, I LOVE this. Great depth of field to focus just on a few morsels, and the herbs look delicious. Five months in Poland. Wow. I love traveling via you. :)

This looks delicious!! Was that fresh chopped dill on top?! And, I agree with @annied about the vodka part....should have been the first thing to sample there!

@panthora -- Hi Osia, yes, it was very fresh dill sprinkled on top. So funny about the vodka because I almost got away without having any! I didn't even imagine that I might like it but I did.
