Shhhh . . . . Oblivious?

Wall art outside a theatre in Barcelona. Nico, the photographer/city guide is a photojournalist who's showing us how to include a protagonist in an image.

Taffy's photo of a genuine walk-by wearing a fabulous yellow top: http://365project.org/taffy/the-also-ran-ph/2015-12-20

I really like Taffy's analysis of the two pairings: this one appears more sinister since the person is oblivious and walking by while texting, and in Taffy's the person walking by is interacting with the painted figure and it seems much friendlier.
great comp Junko

Love the sinister look here -- can't quite trust what that creepy figure is about to do!

@bill_fe - thanks, but can't really take credit for it since the teacher (pictured here) is showing exactly how to frame it!)
@taffy -- the sinister act that's going to happen is stealing the bag since that hand is already on the strap!

Yes, this does have darker undertones. Taffy refers to the figure as 'he' but it looks more feminine to me - especially the hands - which makes this feel even more sinister. @taffy

@vignouse I agree, Richard...and also that the difference between genders of the walkers makes a difference.

I actually see this as a sad commentary on people today who live a virtual life and are impervious to reality. Sometimes this can have disastrous results.

Oh. Neat! Was this a photo walk lesson?
