$494 for a round trip ticket to China? Of course we went. But now, we're back! We had a great time, and have many recommendations for anyone else wanting to go on a photo trip there. We'll be posting a lot of China photos over the next weeks since I'm still doing the Lightroom Transition practice, a day at a time. But for starters, here's a photo that I only had to do one edit: perspective correction, perhaps my very favorite feature that Lightroom has that Aperture does not. I'm not good at portrait photography but I had a good subject, and that door just called to be the background for her portrait.
Aw...a 'good subject'...so kind!! I love this shot and I rarely like any photograph that has me in it! Many thanks! What a great time...it went so fast. These doors were so impressive that I feel badly that I'm blocking some of the view!! Your portraiture work on this trip was so good!
What a lovely portrait of Taffy!! Well done Junko - great use of those beautiful doors as the background!! Fav! Looks like you both had a wonderful time!!
@jgpittenger Haha! Yes, it was our first day and we'd flown all night from Chicago to Beijing, had a short night's sleep in Beijing, and then the morning waiting 3 hours at the airport for our delayed flight, and then picked up at airport for a tour that started immediately. We'd already been to the first tomb before coming here. And hadn't had lunch yet!
