This is a fantastic portrait of the beautiful creature, even if she stayed fairly still. I love how we learned how much they like to lay around and cat-nap.
This is wonderful! I had a one on one with a cheetah at Australia zoo a few years ago. A wonderful experience although you kind of feel guilty that they are in a zoo and not running wild, but the way the world is going, soon they will be the lucky ones š¢
What a beautiful animal. It's so good that you were able to capture him sitting and losing for you. I agree with @casablanca . I love the expression on his face.
This is so fabulous!!! I love this image!!! Such beautiful, agile cats! (Of recent interest to me was taking care of a friend's two greyhounds while they were away. I had no idea that they are the second fastest animals after the cheetah! I was astounded to learn that!)
Thank you all for your supportive comments and favs. @gardenfolk and @taffy just let me know this is on TT and I am delighted to learn this. It's moments like this that make me feel both thankful and inspired. I had not been to a zoo in over 25 years when I went to the one in Sydney with @annied and she is the most intrepid zoo guide, helping me appreciate what I had been missing. @taffy and I learned a lot and had fun at the Living Desert in Indian Wells, California.
