There are statues all over the world where locals rub a specific body part for good luck. It's clear where people rub this statue in the Moscow Pushkin Museum -- and why are people rubbing a piece of art in a museum anyway. The pocket mirror is so tiny it's funny that Botero named this statue as he did.
So perfectly composed with the squares providing a window to all the arches, and the focal statue in the foreground. And it's an interesting presentation with the "rubbing."
Disappointing. At least Juliet is not by a famous sculptor and it’s in the open. It should not be permitted in a museum . The rubbing not the picture which is so well composed. Fav
