I have so many cicadas coming up from the ground . . . but some end up as lunch. Oh, but wait -- is it a cicada? Or is it one of the coneflowers that had gone to seed that I planted whole ??? So confused. What do you think?
(The squirrels dug up some of the cornflower tops I had planted -- they thought I was imitating their behavior, I think.)
