My Teenager just leaned over my shoulder and saw this. He loudly and excitedly exclaimed "awww, squirrel, squirrel! So fluffy, I want to stroke it!" I have to say, there is a very tactile quality about this beauty, though having handled one that needed rescuing after it fell down our chimney and proceeded to trash the lounge with its wild leaping, I find them less tactile than I did!
Thank you all for your generous comments and favs that ended in my delight at seeing this on TT. My backyard squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits and birds have been my sole source of photography in months, and now that we are headed back indoors for the winter I will miss them very much. I'm happy that you have been appreciative of their presence on 365!
