@taffy The baby squirrels use their tails when they are nervous or want to stay hidden or as comfort. (But you can also see that she's peeking a tiny bit out from one side of the tail using that ultra wide angle eye to check on me) It's been fascinating. More photos of squirrels and tails to follow!
