I'm delighted to hear this Mama Duck and her many, many ducklings have made it to TT. I'm sorry I'm barely around at 365 these days but now vaccinated, I've discovered I can leave my house for nearly the first time in 15 months and this birding fever of Migration May has definitely taken my attention. @pattyp@taffy@jbird56 and I have been out and about several times a week, searching for birds. For this particular shot, @pattyp and I were going to photograph at a cemetery when we heard there was a nature center adjacent to it. We were making the trek around the small lake/large pond when this Mama Wood Duck and ducklings began furiously swimming away from us. Their paddling certainly caught our attention! (Thanks @pattyp for noticing them!) May has now gone by, so the migrating birds have moved north. I'll finish posting a few more of my favorites from this.time period and then return more actively into this wonderfully supportive community. Thank you again and again.
