Cedar Waxwing in Flight by jyokota

Cedar Waxwing in Flight

I've been wanting to photograph a cedar waxwing. Finding one to photograph would have been a lucky day. But today, we saw dozens and dozens of them in various places -- tree tops, bushes, in flight, eating, etc.

Wonderful. In late May or early June they really like to feed on service berries. These tend to be small trees which really put them near you as a photographer. You really did well with this shot.

Very nicely captured, and you got a good clear shot of the eye with catchlight.
