A re-edit of Takeshita-Douri, two years later

One of the things I particularly enjoyed about the Printing Class was revisiting photos from the past, and realizing that I would edit them differently now. I had been volunteering in the Lab for Photo I and met a fellow volunteer who showed me how he moved the eye around the image using brushes to darken and increase contrast intentionally to create flow. This is a photo I took on my iphone-only trip to Japan in January-February 2020. I travel with high school students and the main teacher and fellow photographer friend had challenged us to only take our phones and learn to use our phones better as cameras. I originally posted it as this version: https://365project.org/jyokota/365/2020-01-29

I like them both .... this kind of reminds me of your train pictures taken from parking garages in the city. Not sure quite why
