Nashville Warbler by jyokota

Nashville Warbler

It's warbler season -- May in Chicago is when the warblers fly through from their winter homes to their summer homes, lingering only long enough to eat and rest up along their journey. Some nights, thousands of birds fly through. Then the following morning is when all the birders and photographers head out to The Magic Hedge, a very small natural habitat that juts into Lake Michigan.
I love this one. I love his name too. Wonderful to see this phenomenon close to your city.

Wow that’s quite a beautiful sight….lovely to have them return every year. When your country is as big as the as the USA you have migrating birds in the same country, our migrating birds come from different countries.
