Okinawa Ichiba Dinner by jyokota

Okinawa Ichiba Dinner

Makishi Market is an "ichiba" where you buy local foods. After selecting your ultra-fresh fish, the market delivers them upstairs where your seafood will be cooked to your specifications for a nominal fee. Freshest seafood you can ever have. A nice ending to our homecoming trip after 42 years away.
Some of those fish are too pretty to eat. Great collage.

I'm ashamed to say that I never quite got the hang of Japanese cuisine when I visited. Fascinating collage, but I am happy for you to be enjoying the food rather than me.
