Standing in the Middle of the Street - horizontal

I managed to stop long enough in the middle of a massive pedestrian street crossing in downtown Tokyo (more walkers than riders as you can see). Horizontal gives a more claustrophobic fell to the area, buildings closing in. Vertical give too much openness escape to the image.

Although, the vertical draws me into the distance of the image.

I prefer the horizontal.
