The Sun Came Up

As the sun went down last night Tedward became very discouraged and wondered how on earth he was ever going to get through all the social distancing and physical distancing. Tedward is a huggie kind of bear, a very social bear who likes nothing more than to get out and about meeting and greeting people. He is normally very upbeat and positive but even he has a down day from time to time. The days of social distancing and staying away from others have deprived him of what he says is essential to life itself….hugs and being out and about and smiling at strangers in the hopes that it just might brighten their day.
Teddy said he had not had a very good day either. He thought he might have been going a little crazy. Let’s face it Tedward. Did you see ET in the wood grain of the bathroom wall? No you didn’t. So we shall just say that now you have seen him you will never be able to un-see him. At least we have each other and we now have ET as well. You can see his picture here:
Teddy told Tedward that no matter what happens the sun will come up tomorrow. And as promised when Tedward awoke after a good nights sleep he was so excited to see that the sun had indeed come up. He raced and got Teddy out of bed and together they looked outside and gave thanks that they were alive, had a warm place to live, food to eat and most of all….they had each other.
Teddy began to sing That’s What Friends Are For. Even though Teddy is not the greatest of singers and he was pretty off key for nearly all of the song Tedward was just happy that he had a good friend like Teddy.
Love the photo and story.

A gorgeous, peaceful shot with a lovely narrative to go with it. You have window ledges, you lucky lady! I wish I did so I could grow some plants in my house!

@farmreporter Only in our winter home. In our summer home we do not. I'm so looking forward to getting back there. This is taken looking out our bedroom window. It is a very peaceful spot. Hope you are keeping safe and well.

Awww- this is so cute! I've seen and read about some neighborhoods that are putting teddy bears on display for school children to drive around and see. I bet Teddy and Tedward would enjoy seeing all the children waving to them from their cars.

@olivetreeann we live in a very remote area with a very long driveway. You can not even see our little cabin from the road. I have been doing photos like this and posting them on a FB page that has been set up to keep folks connected from the town I work and usually shop in (not working right now and not shopping apart from online)
