The sunset and moonrise were just minutes apart last night. We went to the overlook by the Lake Allatoona visitor center because it is a location where it's possible to look both east and west. The sunset started in these golden hues and progressed to deeper oranges and reds. For this earlier shot there was enough light to see the sunset reflected in the waters of the Etowah River.
