unnerved

I have been intending to try the rear curtain flash technique and tonight finally ventured out into the night to give it a go, on the way I found my neighbour lying in the bushes covered in blood and totally disorientated, he had lost his keys and couldnt get in his house and being a bit drunk hadnt been able to sort himself out. He told me he had a stroke last year, I hadnt even heard about it, He lives alone and said he had never been so fucked up in his life and nobody would care if he died. He was very grateful when i walked him back to his house and found the keys so he could go inside. There was blood everywhere, the blood thinning medication meant it was pouring out of his nose. I came home with his blood on my hands. I feel weird.
I don't know about rear curtain flash. Seeing you looking ghostly amidst all the confusion is unnerving. A very sad story re your neighbour. Thank goodness you went out and found him.

I'm sorry to hear about your neighbor. I'm glad that you found him and were able to get him home. It must have been a scary experience.

Such confusion and strength here. Your inner courage and kindness was what your neighbor needed. Prayers that he can find his own so that he can battle his demons.

Holy crap Kali. Anyone would have been shaken at this. That's a shame that's how your neighbor feels... I'm sure it's not easy for him - not feeling like he's surrounded by someone who cares about him. I hope you've recovered from your experience - meanwhile you've turned your feelings into a really great shot...

Solitude may be a damn form of sickness... This photo conveys an awful lot of sadness (to me)

Firstly, this is a stunning shot and secondly; how weird was that finding your neighbour?

@ethelperry @leananiemand @domenicododaro @kerosene @kerosene @shepherdmanswife @summerfield @frappa77 @shylaine3304 @jackies365 @francoise @joysabin @claycameras @jack4john I called my neighbour today to see how he was and he told me that after I left him he couldnt get warm and the bleeding wouldnt stop and he developed chest pains so he rang his sister who is a nurse and she ordered an ambulance, so he spent a few hours in a&e getting checked out, He has a couple of cracked ribs and his nose is a bit messed up from falling i think, my finding him was it luck, coincidence or spirit guides? I dont know but he is probably 'lucky' to be alive.

@kali66 It's so lucky that you found him. What an experience though. Your photo does match the story.

I've only just read this Kali. As traumatic as it must have been to find him, I cant imagine how much worse it could have been if you hadn't gone outside to practice.

I hope he recovered ok and that you're also feeling ok.
