A spoon full of sugar makes the medicine go down

random stuff i picked up on the beach
I like it! I especially like the result of more shallow depth of field with the bottle more in the background. Have you applied a vintage overlay/frame? The lines across the middle makes it it look like a water line with some underwater and bottle and spoon half way submerged.

@mcsiegle i put a sheet of plastic on the bed of the scanner to protect it, fun to play around with

Now who would throw away a perfectly good used up shampoo bottle?

excellent , wish I thought of a beachcombing scan, might try it...the plastic works as a texture..fav

This is a beautiful still, Kali! Tastefully composed and perfectly balanced in colours... You are a relentless experimenter...

Sad about the crap on our beautiful beaches but you have done a sterling job cleaning up and producing this magical image. Fav

I had to laugh at your title for this (I've just come out of hospital early this morning after a reaction to meds) great collection though

An odd collection but great to put into one frame like this!

@blueberry1222 it was melted! someone had a great time .
@snaphappi this is only half of the strange stuff i picked up, the town used to have an empty secion by the beach until the tide eroded it away, i think it was used as a dump so there are always old bits of metal and stuff showing up after big tides,
@bozi post processing to the rescue!
@silverhorn oh no, thats no good, hope you are feeling better,
@jack4john the beach brings me lots of inspiration in the flotsom

Wonderful how they all fit together in a weird way. That little stone looks like a face which is almost screaming. Great collection.

I got a bit stuck on this image -- it made me think of this old DJ Shadow track (although not so much the just-obnoxious horn bleats parts) -- lots of different things going on in both (image and music). Of course, I am probably the only one thinking this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_oq8H9MBS4

A fascinating image, I paused and reflected on it for a long time :) Fav!

@scotthouston always like your music picks. right on
December 17th, 2016
You've recreated the feel of the ocean floor here... a good example of how a scanogram works in its own right rather than just geing a gimmick.
December 17th, 2016
Glad to see there's no turds.
December 17th, 2016
@craigwantsnack just dog do...
