Exquisite DOF. I wonder if these are Katydids? I like it on black.

I like the compact spiral and the flowering: growing budding and dying all in one shot, Co existing

@ethelperry @dide @maggiemae @momamo @jernst1779 @joansmor @dustyloup yes Katydids, they eat rosebuds and young citrus tree leaves and apparently sunflowers as well! i think they have a guilty look in their eyes lol. this was a bit garish in colour, their bright green and the vivid yellow , made them easy to spot though

Pests! Well, if you makes you feel any better...ryan found a rat burrowed in our garden yesterday and he tried getting it, but he said it was too fast. Good times!

we have a rat and mouse plague this year due to what they call a Beech Mast, the beech trees in the bush fruited heavily this past year so there was a lot of food for them, i have just bought a gas powered trap to hopefully get rid of them because i can hear them in the walls of the house! @blueberry1222

I have always rather liked these insects, but then usually only see them out in the wild so to speak, where there is no one to worry about their plants. An interesting choice of black and white - great to see all the detail - especially in the sunflower.
