@helenhall these ones are a downy gray, we don''t have white swans here, but there was a white heron and two spoonbills, unfortunately too far in the distance for me to get a good shot
@kali66 sorry - I meant that the cygnets of the white swans are also that grey colour. I learned something new - never realised you only had black swans.
@helenhall yes i got you, interesting that the babies are the same colour, apparently when the explorers reported back to Britain that they had seen black swans they weren't believed!
