Here is my attempt at the Orton effect, challenge given by Kathy.
I chose to do this using in-camera double exposure, one photo out of focus to give the glow, the other has sharpness . needed a better subject perhaps but i think of all my attempts this best gives the desired glowy effect.
@randystreat I willfully refused to go get a tripod , this was best of the bunch handheld, fun technique, it really does give that glow. something i would like to try again

So pleased that you are still participating in the get pushed challenge and to be partnered with you once again!!
(the number of us is going down which is really too bad --- it's a fabulous challenge!!)
Your challenge for the week is to participate in a Scenes of the Road challenge (since I am hosting it!) ... with a shot taken this week even though I will be backdating it 'til September 23rd - lol!!
@farmreporter ok that should be doable !
maybe we need to promote get-pushed somehow , make a generic invitation and post it on a photo from each of the people we follow??
@kali66
I have been thinking about doing a 'In Praise of the Get Pushed Challenge' article / thread to encourage members ... especially new members who need followers and people to comment on their photos.
Will do that this week.
