A glorious early morning walk to the canal spoilt in some places by the sounds of nearby machinery, vehicles and shouting from the (blot on the landscape) building site! It used to be such a pleasant walk through leafy lanes and past meadows and copses - it will be many years before all the new housing developments blend in.
