Silk and Leather Cleaning

I was taking some portraits of the dogs inside today, after a rainy and dreary day outside. Newtons tongue made a sudden appearance during an open shutter moment.
My youngest child left to go 3000km to Toronto this morning to attend a painting workshop and spend the next week putting together a portfolio for applying to art college. I am proud of him and hopeful the process proves to meet his wildly expansive expectations.
Now THAT is a close up! Tag it for the weekly theme, Karen!

Just love the comp and crop here, fav! Is your son applying to OCAD?

@tristansmum He is! He would have to overcome a few large academic obstacles but he's willing to persevere and see what comes of it.

What a moment! It took me a second to actually "see" what it is.

Whoa- some tongue licking going on there! haha My son went to Pratt Art Institute and while he did not land in a career with art, he feels it was a good experience for him. Best wishes to yours.

This is a lot of fun. Kind of beautiful and almost gross in the level of detail. Amazing (to me) how important that one little highlight is in his eye. I'm coming down on the side of 'beautiful'.
