Fall Biking

I wasn't sure what I wanted to photograph when I drove towards Barrington and Warren this morning. That is, until I saw the beautiful carpet of leaves on the East Bay Bike Path. This section, with the wooden post fencing, is off route 114 just before the Barrington River Bridge. There's still a surprising amount of foliage on the trees draping the path in this section. It's a dense cover that somehow managed to survive Hurricane Sandy earlier this week. As luck would have it, this biker road by while I was setting up for my photo, providing an interesting dynamic for the overall scene.

Post processing started with a brilliant cold filter in Topaz Adjust. I then adjusted the adaptive exposure, contrast, protect highlights, and adaptive saturation sliders. A slight levels adjustment was added in PSE.
