Mills on the River

I went to the Blackstone River Bikeway at lunch today. Crossing the bridge over the Blackstone River, I was impressed by the lighting on the river and on the mill itself. The contrast in the clouds added to the overall drama of the scene. I've shown this mill several times in the course of this project, but it's the first time I've photographed it from this angle while straddling the Cumberland / Lincoln town line.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, and boost white. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
