I went to Haines Point at lunch today with nothing specific in mind. Pulling into the parking lot, the haphazard arrangement of these concrete curbs caught my fancy. I'd never noticed them strewn about in this position, before, and paired with the fallen leaves and the bare trees in the background, I thought it would make an interesting composition. I'm glad I did.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, boost white, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
