I haven't been to India Point in a while, so I decided to stop there at lunch for today's photo. The calm water was perfect for today's photo, looking across the river at Bold Point. I've presented many photos from the other side of the river, so it was nice to have the opportunity to show it from this perspective. The abandoned railroad bridge in the photo harkens back to the days when India Point had a large scrap yard instead of a scenic park. With all the metal reclamation going on in the river, I'm surprised the bridge has yet to be dismantled.

Post processing started with a neutral filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, boost white, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.

Here's the high res version in Smugmug: http://kannafoot.smugmug.com/Photo-Challenges/PAD2014/i-74KVN3V/0/XL/2014%2012%2022_0006%20copy-XL.jpg
