Crowning moment of my stay in Colorado was seeing this beautiful Coyote (?) appear near the roadside of my brother's neighborhood.
Word to the wise, make sure you always have the best lens ready when an unexpected moment like this arises. I forgot to change lenses before leaving this morning and could have gotten a much better close-up. But, I'm still loving this.
Best viewed large if you have a moment. :)
I actually like the vast open space here.

I like the open space too. It shows how he is colored to blend in, but emphasizes the alone-ness.
