Out Walking by kathiecb

Out Walking

The temperature was above 0 today and it seemed as if everyone was on the ice....fishing, skidooing, ATVing, sitting, skating.
This fellow was out walking his dog. Multiple fish huts are on the horizon just out of view.

Simple and lovely.

Love the simplicity of this shot. It looks so beak. I think I would have preferred the man and dog slightly off centre though rather than in the middle.

Love the scale of this shot... the bleak landscape and tiny figures ๐Ÿ™‚

You look as if you are, very nearly. standing on the edge - Don't fall in! Such a massive space for a solitary person and his dog - great pov

@joemuli @nanderson @yaorenliu @777margo @radiogirl @janeandcharlie @seattlite @lynnz @taffy @dide @northy @ziggy77 Thanks everyone for your encouraging comments. It seems to have evoked different feelings - bleak, lonely, expansive, edge of the world. Thanks too for getting it to PP.
@onewing Great comment, Babs. I did think about having the subject off centre but then didn't.
@tremerryn I think the world is flat, Tre.

Love this shot! It's amazing how relative temperature can feel! We've had a warm winter this year so normal January temps are feeling cold!
January 23rd, 2018
You're right. It felt warm today after temps in the -30s

It looks a bit slushy today, but still safe enough to walk out there.
