Carousel Horse

Many local men and women have been working on building a carousel for the community to enjoy. This is just one of the horses that will be on it.

This started as a dream and a few men went off to learn how to carve carousel animals. They taught others how to carve. Artists who could paint taught classes on how to paint.

So those who did not know how to carve now have beautiful carved animals to show for it. Those who couldn't paint have painted these amazing animals. It has been a huge community effort. There is also a giraffe, a bull, a dog, a cougar and many others.
