This man was sitting with his three beautiful obedient dogs. They were very well cared for and as you can see he was taking donations to care for them.
@paul2782 Paul, people on the street in the US range from the seriously mentally ill to scammers who live in quite nice homes. That's part of the problem: separating the needy from the not-so-needy. By the healthy look of these dogs, I suspect he may not be as needy as he wants people to think he is.
@anazad511 I understand your feeling Ana! @carolb Carol, what you said is true! I took this picture and tried not to figure it out. I just decided that he is accountable for his actions.
I viewed this photo with interest when first posted, and my thoughts were so varied, I decided not to post any comment at that moment. But think I will now that I have thought about it. First, it is a wonderful street photo. Very nice composition. Next thing that hit me was, what beautiful, well cared for dogs. Third thought was wondering what this would look like in b & w. Lastly, yes, this man and his dogs do not appear to be needy or hungry, and he may be a total scammer, but then again, not all wounds or illnesses are visible. The confusion of thought helps make this a very good photo in my book.
i think this guy has a good heart--love his smiles-the dogs looks fine-and it's a very cool street shot :)-----agree w/RL,will really lood good in b&w.. fav for me :)
@dauber Thanks for your thoughtful comments! Will try it out in B&W. @jodimuli Thanks Joey, Really appreciate your thoughts and fav! I will try it in B&W. @bkbinthecity Thanks for your encouragement.
I love this! The composition is great and I love the man and dogs look of contentment whatever their situation may be (it is hard to know what someone else is living through) The dogs do look to be pure breed but I am most impressed by their obedience. Good dogs! FAV
But either way, Kathy, it's a great capture! :o)
