Biggs Killer Whale by kathyo

Biggs Killer Whale

Came upon a mega-pod of 4 - 5 families of transient whales off the east coast of Vancouver Island. It was wonderful to watch them as they enjoyed the social interaction. They were playing, rubbing on each other, mating, leaping, spy-hopping and calling. We had a hydrophone below the water and could hear them calling out to each other. What a wonderful nature experience.
How fabulous to see these close up! Fav!
