Hey! "WW2 fighter ace Douglas Bader said "Rules are for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men." He was right! You go for what you want to do!
Douglas Bader certainly did. Lost both his legs in a plane crash and fought his way back to pilot a Spitfire. A very stubborn and wilful gentleman indeed.
I like this. Maybe the lines or the way the signs pop or the hint of the wires...great!
PS re the water hydrant shot as I don't how much time I'll have later -- it's a rather controversial thing in our neighborhood. The fire department has shut it off a number of times from somewhere else, but somehow, someone always gets it back on again. It used to be ONLY for when kids were playing. I've noticed lately it's at odd hours -- like last night, there was not a kid in sight. We have plenty of water from the lake, but still, levels are really down as you could see in the Beaver Island shot. Same lake, just 300 miles north.
@taffy I'm sure your heatwave atm has made the young at heart decide to take matters into their own hands! Not sure what you mean by your second comment...were you drinking a few alcoholic beverages when you wrote it lol
@kazlamont just meant there were different Beaver Island shots of the low lake levels and we are on the same lake here. So the use of water like that is a little unnerving seeing how Lake Michigan is draining or evaporating. Shorthand of that wasn't too clear!
