This page-a-day calendar is on my mom’s desk. I’m a Christian and this is one of my favorite passages from the Bible. Things have been so confusing over the past few months with the pandemic. Plus my mom had surgery on July 4 for a broken hip, so that was a big worry. She’s home and doing much better, and my dad is a capable caregiver. This text gives me a lot of comfort when things feel out of my control.
September 2015 - I dropped my Nikon L22 at the arboretum (on asphalt!) and it's definitely broken. :(

This too shall pass (I hope). So sorry to hear about your mom. My husband's father fell and broke his hip in March, while I was in Florida. He was in and out of the hospital and nursing home for 5 weeks with no visitors allowed...a difficult time on top of this pandemic that seems to drag on and on. I am patiently waiting for it to pass as we all are...take good care, Elyse! Katniss and Sophie Belle are good company while my husband is at work. :)
