The trio

Well, I went to check the nest again today and first of all Mom wouldnt leave and let me spy on her brood but when I saw her taking flight later I went back with my camera and got a little surprise. There are now 3 eggs. I googled Robins and it said they usually have a brood of 3 or 4 but didnt say that they layed one a day. We will see what tomorrow brings but keep checking in :)
Awesome! :0)

That's so cool. Makes sense that there's one per day if you think about it...you know, like chickens:-) How fun is it to watch this all unfold, right?

The robins that build on my downspouts usually have four.

@cjwhite @5unflow3r @mwest @ebeth_h @sunnygreenwood @cath @glimpses thanks so much for your interest in my little family of Robins, lets see how they do. I'm a little worried as we are throwing a big party in the yard this weekend and I'm worried that the mom will be frightened off but we will see.

I've enjoyed seeing others who have been lucky enough to follow the egg to birds taking flight series. I'll be watching yours too.
Great capture.
