Still Hangin' On

Fifteen degrees Fahrenheit cooler, and we would've had snow for the week and a half surrounding Christmas... instead it's been unseasonably warm and my parents still have a few flowers in bloom in the garden.

Speaking of parents, Mom made me aware of a French saying: "Noël au balcon, Pâques au tison" which roughly translates to "Christmas on the balcony, Easter in front of the chimney"... if that holds true, this end of year warmth might bring out Old Man Winter in a fury for the next four months. I love winter so that'd bode well for me...
Color seems to pop even more in cooler weather! Looks so gorgeous and refreshing!

Enjoy your winter, Caroline, and I hope all the flowers keep blooming in your life! Our winter has been pretty cold here for San Diego, so I might have to move to your part of the woods soon!

I am not sure that I love winter, but I do miss the snow.

I love winter too! We awoke to a bunch of white stuff on the ground and we are all so excited. Such a gorgeous shot, soft and delicate. I really like the beautiful diffuse light.
