Thunk, thunk I heard as I turned around to see two birds falling to the ground from the top of the car cover, one with it's neck feathers in the other's beak. They both came tumbling down and fought each other more after hitting the ground. Then proceeded to chase each other and fight for the next hour or more. Occasionally one would thunk the other's head with it's beak.

Amazing capture. I can't imagine them nesting in this cactus. It looks like they would be stabbed. Isn't it something when you catch one of these fights. I want to go and referee.
