Statūrus

About to stand
About to remain
Whatever may come
Whatever to face
With dignity unvarnished
With resolve unfazed

In the chaos of the moment
Be quiet
I say
Be quiet.
Face the lion, untamed.
About to stand
To remain, to remain
Jae

LOVE this Kevin! I'm a huge fan of the grandeur and antiquity within museums and I marvel at flowing drapery carved from stone! I'm in awe of the essence of the artist that lingers in those halls! I read the strength of resolve in your words...and I try not to read too much into it, but am left to ponder... It's the mystery effect, and that's not a bad thing :)

@Weezilou You are a real joy! Thank you for taking the time. Seriously. This is the largest statue in a museum in the USA at 18 feet high and a marvel to see. My words are borne from the moment and I leave the meaning in your good hands and quiet heart. PS the drapery kills ;)
