Mulberry

Today is all about fruit growing in our Orchard

Now, I've never seen one of these - but have heard of the wine! Looks as juicy as one of your raspberries but I doubt as sweet?

@maggiemae they are very juicy and a mixture of sweet with a tartness to it. We eat them as they are or in the same ways as we eat our raspberries, blackberries and blueberries ~ on pancakes, in smoothies etc. I believe they make good wine, but we have never done that.

so interesting you show a mulberry - for years I have had one huge crop a year in september. this year I had a winter crop, a sept crop and now I gorged on fruit this morning when I realise the tree had fruited yet again!
