Spring has arrived in our neck of the woods

Today is the official first day of Spring. Every where we look around our property there is evidence of the shift in season.

Today I am thankful for...

1. Being able to welcome in a new season and enjoy the shift in energy. The world is awakening and it is beautiful.

2. Having time to plant our potatoes in the ground. We have planted four different types - Pink Eye, Kennebec, King Edward and Dutch Cream. Now we just have to nurture them until it's time to harvest the fruits of our labour.

3. Being able to celebrate the fathers in our life. Mine passed some eight years ago, but he is never forgotten. My husband and father in law were celebrated with a family meal and get together. I love making memories.
So much the opposite from here. We are on the verge of fall with warm days and cool nights. In a few more weeks the leaves will be turning color. Enjoy your spring!
